Hourly to Salary Calculator
A full-time year is about 2,080 work hours (40 hours × 52 weeks). Convert any hourly wage to yearly pay, or a salary to its hourly rate.
How it's calculated
Annual pay = hourly wage × hours per week × paid weeks per year, plus overtime hours × 1.5 × wage × weeks. Monthly = annual ÷ 12; weekly = annual ÷ weeks. To go the other way, hourly = salary ÷ (hours × weeks). Under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, covered non-exempt employees must get at least 1.5× their regular rate for hours over 40 in a workweek. These are gross figures before taxes — use the paycheck calculator for take-home pay.
